Mazor Robotics | 3D Surgical Guidance Animationn

We produced a 3D medical animation for Mazor Robotics, presenting a robotic surgical guidance system in a realistic operating-room environment. The video combined live-action green screen footage with a fully animated 3D medical setting, created for a high-profile global product launch and first screened on the NASDAQ building in Times Square, New York.

A Medical Launch That Had to Look Precise

The project had to communicate the value of a robotic surgical guidance platform with the visual confidence expected from a global medical technology launch. The challenge was to combine live footage and 3D animation into one believable medical environment, under a tight deadline, while keeping every detail precise, professional, and visually impactful.

Green Screen Meets Clinical 3D

We filmed a live performer on green screen and built a detailed 3D operating-room environment around the action. Using Cinema 4D and green screen compositing, we created realistic medical surroundings, refined the product materials, and blended live-action footage with animation so the final piece felt cohesive, credible, and technically sharp.

A Surgical Technology Story for a Global Stage

The finished video gave Mazor Robotics a strong visual asset for presenting its surgical guidance system at a major international launch. Screened on the NASDAQ building in Times Square, the animation combined medical atmosphere, product clarity, and launch-level impact – turning a complex robotic platform into a focused and memorable visual story.
