We produced a 3D digital printing animation for Velox – a teaser video introducing the IDS 250, a mass production multi-process printer of extraordinary scale and complexity. Built for trade shows, product launches, and digital channels worldwide, the animation was designed to capture the machine’s full engineering ambition in a visually striking breakdown that audiences could feel as much as understand.
The Velox IDS 250 is not just a printer – it is a multi-process super machine with a scale and technical depth that pushes every boundary of 3D production. The machine was so vast and complex that the animation team had to divide it into sub-assemblies to prevent system overload, only revealing the full machine once every part was reconnected. The challenge: make all of that feel effortless on screen.
We approached the Velox IDS 250 with meticulous planning and deep expertise in handling large-scale 3D productions. The animation was structured as a cinematic teaser -offering a carefully curated glimpse into the machine’s many processes, building tension and scale through precise camera work and technical detail. Every sub-assembly was animated to the highest level of precision before the full machine was assembled into its final, powerful reveal.
The finished animation delivered the full visual weight of the Velox IDS 250 -scale, speed, and engineering depth, captured in a format built to command attention at trade shows and across digital platforms worldwide. The satisfaction of seeing the final frames come together after such a demanding production reflected what the video itself communicates: that this machine is in a league of its own.
